Masks are mandatory
You must wear a mask when travelling onboard Gulflander and at stations, ticket offices and retail outlets.
Vaccination requirements aboard Gulflander.
Vaccination requirements for hospitality venues and workers due to government health directives apply to Gulflander services.
On the Gulflander:
All customers 16 years and over travelling on the Gulflander will be required to be fully vaccinated.
Proof of vaccination is required to travel with us. Please show your proof of vaccination to access the station to board the train.
Our onboard team on each Gulflander service are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This is just one way we are helping to keep you safe.
We are waiving cancellation and rebooking fees. If you have purchased a package through one of our partners, please check with them for their terms and conditions.
We strongly encourage our customers to wear a face mask when travelling with us. If you’re feeling unwell or you have been in a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days, please follow Queensland Health advice.

Proof of Vaccination:
The easiest way to do this is to use the Check In Qld app, by linking your COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate to the app. Make sure you upgrade to the latest version of the app to show the green tick.
Alternatively, you can access your COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate through the Medicare app, from your Medicare-linked MyGov account, or My Health Record.
