Bookings for the 2026 Gulflander season are open. We’re looking forward to an exciting season ahead!
The current seasonal closure of the Normanton to Croydon corridor has been extended due to ongoing flooding affecting the region. A tentative restart date for the Gulflander service has been set for Wednesday, 3 June 2026, however this remains dependent on the completion of track inspections and any necessary repairs identified within this timeframe. Please prepare by checking our Service Updates.
Our fares are changing
From 1 April 2026, our rail fares will increase by around 3.4%. The fare increase applies to all services booked for travel from 1 April 2026 and helps us continue to deliver safe, comfortable, and memorable rail journeys.
